Begin a new chapter!

*Note: this piece of poetry was written by me for one of my friends in an attempt to win his girlfriend back and yes! he did :D

I wish I could go back to square one

to fix all I ever did and what I have done

begin a new chapter, go back to the start

show you real love, that you're there in my heart

I dream of you when I'm awake, let alone when i sleep

I'll never break a promise, all of them I'll keep

you will always be my one and only star

that keeps my heart beating, playing like a guitar

sometimes i just wish we lived in our own world

you and I all alone, forever yours my girl

I've made a mistake letting you go away

I know there isn't much that I could ever say

I apologized once and here I go again

and no 'buts' this time, things will not be the same

problems can be overcome and our love gets strong

if I had a nice voice, I'd even sing you a song

baby girl I was lost and you made me found

forever I will think of you as my precious crown

I hope there's still room for me in your heart

When life gets hard and you're in pain

you try everything to stay the same

but it never works and it gets so weird

and everyone's out and you're left to blame

its so lame, that there's nothing you've done

but still on you they'll point the gun

and you start thinking "why they're mad?!"

they say whats done cannot be undone

its mysterious how life is

one day its cool, the other its mess

all the problems and all the stress

is put on you like a game of chess

but still you try to prove them wrong

and do what you can to stay up strong

to satisfy them you'll keep going on

and on and on just like a moron

and on, you'll try to move

but you start to see what they want to prove

their words no longer have a groove

sometimes i wish i could only snooze!
